Hifumikan can also welcome groups (up to 65 people). The charter plan concerns groups of more than 35 people. We will organize any extra activity necessary so that your stay goes as well as possible (such as sports facilities for training camp). We also have a meeting and multipurpose rooms adjacent to the inn.
The inn is equipped of all the facilities you need. You will find a wide common space, self-catering area, and bath. There is tea and ice at the inn, a washing machine, and a free minibus (29 seats) for transportation to and from the facility.
Build beside the inn, it is on the second floor of a wooden building designed in the image of a good old and nostalgic Showa school, It is equipped with wifi and all necessary furnitures (long desks, chairs, projector, whiteboard). You can see the famous metasequoia trees from the windows or the mountains. It is the perfect place needed for conference, study camps, seminar camps, and various activities. There is no rental of terminals such as PCs and iPads.
There are four tennis courts scattered around the Hifumikan. There are 9 on the Makino Plateau, 13 on the Forest Sports Center, 14 on the Takashima City Imazu Sports Park (4 of which are covered), and 8 on the Shin-Asahi Forest Sports Park. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, so please consider as soon as possible. We also accept delivery of lunch boxes to the tennis court.
The facility has a total of 14 omni courts, 10 omni courts, and 4 covered omnicourts (2 of which are school priority and 3 futsal). The clubhouse is right in front of you so you can practice comfortably. A court that can be used by a wide range of people, from beginners to experts.
Located in the Makino Plateau, it is in a quiet environment surrounded by nature. You can play to your heart's content while bathing in negative ions in the clear air. There is a gymnasium within a 3-minute walk. It can be used for rain measures (reservation required). Makino Kogen Onsen "Sarasa" is also there.
It is a sports center with 13 clay courts and a multipurpose ground adjacent to each other. Located on a hill, it drains well and has a feeling of openness... It also features a good view overlooking the ridgeline of the mountains on the border of Fukui prefecture. There are also changing rooms, toilets and vending machines.

There are two gymnasiums around the Hifumikan. There are two places, Makino Kogen Highland Arena and Makino Tsuchini Manabu Sato. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, so please consider to book as soon as possible. Pick-up and practice tea are free. We also accept delivery of bento boxes to the gymnasium.
It is a very atypical wooden gymnasium. Located in the plateau, the lawn of the ski resort spreads out in front of the gymnasium. It is a new and comfortable facility that was completed in 2012, matching the surrounding trees and mountains. When you enter the facility, the faint scent of wood will heal your heart. Makino Kogen Onsen is a 3-minute walk away. Please be sure to bring gym shoes. 1 basketball, 1 volleyball, 2 badminton, recreation, etc ... There are toilet, changing room, lighting.
Surrounded by rice fields and rivers, it is surrounded by idyllic satoyama scenery. Adjacent to the conference room, training room, and baseball field, it can be used for multiple purposes. Basically, every Monday is a closed day. Please be sure to bring gym shoes. 2 basketballs, 2 volleyballs, 6 badminton, 8 ping pong tables, can be lent. Information on experiential learning, forest school, orientation camp, and summer camp: Makino Minshuku Association have over 30 years of experience to host children and assure a safe environment. About 40 to 60 schools use the area every year. We can accept 10 classes in a separate inn. A unified menu is available for meals. We will consider not accepting more than one school on the same day so that troubles between schools do not occur. The distance between the inns is within 3-4 minutes on foot no matter where you stay. We can accept up to 10 classes a day and about 400 students.
